PFI Freediver course (Los Angeles), November 1 - 2

Register for PFI Freediver class, taught by Lance Lee Davis. Students will dive up to 20M (66') and do statics breathholds of up to 4 minutes. Total class cost is $500. This is a two day class, limited to 4 - 6 total students. To register and secure your spot, pay $250.00 nonrefundable deposit today. Balance is due at the start of class. After registering, within about a week of the class start, you will receive and email with additional information about the class, an e-learning code, as well as a link to pay your balance. Once registered, any change of date is $100 and subject to availability. Students wishing to rent or purchase equipment can do so on the first day of class from the shop which is hosting us for classroom, Spear America Southbay. Freedive specific wetsuits are strongly recommended (even thick surfing or scuba wetsuits may not be warm enough this time of year).

What to do to prepare for the class? Before the class, checkout the 'EQ 101' article on my blog (https://www.socalspearit.com/single-post/2018/05/07/Equalizing-Your-Ears-101). Some students find it very beneficial to do a little bit of ear homework before the class. Equalizing ability (not breathhold!) is the most common limiting factor for students when it comes to ocean work.
